Product

Milwaukee manufactures its signature red power tools in both 120 and 230 volts for worldwide use. The extensive product line covers over 500 different power tool models ranging from Sawzall® reciprocating saws, circular saws, driver drills, hammer drills, rotary hammers, band saws, grinders and sanders to tools designed for specific applications such as diamond drilling rigs, Steel Hawg® cutting systems, Sharp-Fire® screw-shooter systems and cordless caulking guns.

In addition, over 3500 accessories are available to support every product. Accessories include Sawzall blades, jig saw blades, band saw blades, circular saw blades, hole saws, twist bits, selfeed wood boring bits, core bits and diamond blades, grinding wheels, wire brushes, router bits, screwdriver bits, sanding discs and belts and percussion bits.

Innovation and Product Development

Since its founding in 1924, Milwaukee has been an industry leader in power tool innovation with over 137 US and 179 foreign patents awarded as of the end of 2002. Innovative new power tools include the Tilt-Lok™, the world's first adjustable handle circular saw; the BodyGrip® router with an exclusive tactile grip with adjustable handstrap and the Sawzall - the Hatchet® recip saw with 6-position rotatable handle. The innovation continues with the V28™ Lithium Ion Cordless Tool System, a new revolution in the power tool industry. The V28 battery delivers up to twice the run time and 40-50% more power than an 18 volt NiCd battery at the same weight. From customer input research, CAD design, in-house extensive life and reliability testing, rapid prototype development and field testing to final product launch, Milwaukee prides itself on its reputation for delivering innovative, quality power tools and accessories.
