For the price I paid I have few complaints. As this is the older generation the camera head is ~16mm, too big for most spark plug holes. The image only rotates 180; I would prefer at least 90 degree increments. The zoom is awesome, and the user interface for zoom/LED brightness/image rotation is fairly easy to use. However, I have to say I would not recommend this to a friend as the newer models have important improvements, primarily a smaller probe head.

As an engineer & avid home DIY man, I would still not have justified the cost outside of the RECON price, which was a steal, and the product CPO sent me functions and appears brand new. The device is not difficult to use at all, it just takes a little patience and thought to translate the orientation of the camera with that of the screen. I use this product primarily for home repair/improvement and also to decide what work I should contract instead of tackle myself. I plan to use the device to check contractor work as needed. I also found the tool quite handy for automobile engine inspections and for hard to reach areas in the engine compartment along with those under/inside the dash. It was a huge time saver in finding an engine fluid leak source just this week.
