Best Cordless Impact on the Market
I looked at the impact wrenches from Snapon, Mac, Dewalt, Makita and Milwaukee. The Milwaukee 2663 is by far the best on the market. It is the most powerful, well built, and has Milwaukee's reputation for quality. I could not even tell that is was refurbed and not new. I have bought several reconditioned tools from CPO and have been impressed with each one.

Awesome
Works great for changing tires. Has as much power as the air impact I have without dragging the hose around. It is fairly heavy though but partly because its so beefy.

Still questionable! But good!
First thing I used it for was breaking lugs on my trucks tires! It was flawless! Fast and easy!
Second job was removing an O2 sensor from 87 Mazda, that it wasnt able to do! With a socket, ratchet and breaker bar it wasnt hard loosen. So, I don't know if I would consider it "High Torque" quite yet!
Overall, I'm very pleased, I'll use it on wheels all the time, o2 sensors rarely!

This WORKS!
I'm a much better painter than mechanic. So when I had to do some front-end work to replace wheel bearings on my 2000 Dodge Neon, I was "out of my comfort zone." Most of the bolts and nuts had been installed rather haphazardly by King Kong, cranked to maximum tightness. I broke two hand wrenches. My neighbor's impact wrench, powered by a small compressor, couldn't budge 'em. But a friend with one of THESE was able to zip 'em off with no aggravation. I don't own one yet -- but rest assured, I'm going to, now!

unreal product
bought this product, and i think it was one of the greatest product i have bought. I am a heavy duty mechanic and see some very large fastener. I needed to tighten (6) 1-1/2 inch grade 8 bolts and locking fasteners and there was no way of getting an air line close enough, this impact tighten all 6 so effortlessly that i was absolutely surprised. Awesome product milwaukee!!!

Excellent for breaking rusted fastners
I twisted one bolt off on the rear suspension of our 1996 Honda Civic DX. I was removing the lower trailing arm. I remembered a friend purchased this tool and asked if I could borrow it for a few days. I first tightened the fastener and then reversed the tool. I was amazed in two tightening/loosening cycles the bolt was broken loose and removed. No more twisted off bolts.

I am certain the vibration from the impacts coupled with the reverse torque broke the bolt loose. The bolt threads and shaft were both rusted to the trailing arm and shock bushing.

I added the took kit to my gift list for Birthday and/or Christmas.

This Milwaukee tool exceeded all claims in all the advertisements I have read! I wish Milwaukee offered a lifetime extended warranty one could purchase. I would replace all my "orange" cordless tools with Milwaukee if they offered a lifetime warranty as the "other" manufacturer offers.

What I'm I missing? I bought 1/2 inch impact sockets but they don't fit.
Tom on Oct 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These tools are intended only for use with accessories designed for impact wrenches and drivers. Other sockets could shatter or break, causing injury. For Model 2663-20, use the appropriate drive socket size and to attach a socket, align the accessory with the drive shank and push it firmly over the retaining ring.To remove the accessory, pull the accessory off the drive shank.

New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
  • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
  • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
  • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
