Best hard hat lamp ever
Color, output, ruggedness, all great! Recharge rate is pretty fast. Only problem I seem to have is the weight of the device. It pulls my hard hat down a bit in the front. Other than that its a great product

Super bright, best headlight ive found with typical awesome Milwaukee quality!!
I purchased this headlight as being a high voltage lineman, i work at night all the time, and typically its really dark because the power is out. We also need as much light as possible to work safely as we are regularly within arms reach of hard to see small wire that if we touch it, it can easily kill us. I have tried at least 8 different lights, and i finally found the best one. Bright enough and wide enough. The only complaint i could find is battery life while on the 2 brightest modes. Maybe 2 to 3 hours, so a second battery and a seperate way to charge is required as i work shifts that start before sundown and last well into the next day. I have yet to find any store that stocks the battery and/or charger so it has to be ordered. I currently stole the battery from one of my other flashlights so now i can go all night as long as i keep the light on the 2 lowest settings most of the time. I previously purchased the smaller Milwaukee headlamp that takes 3 AAA batteries as i didnt know this one even existed, but for my type of work that lamp didnt have nearly a strong enough spotlight. Just a very wide floodlight that is only bright enough for me for the first 30 minutes of battery life. Basically i had to put 3 new AAA's in it every 2 to 3 hours, so that light is now my backup for when im out of juice for this one. The only other thing i noticed that i dont like is the strap has stretched out considerably, so the only way i can keep it on my hard hat when i bend over is to just wrap 3 or 4 layers of e-tape around the strap/hard hat and i just leave it on the hat full time. All in all, i like the light so much, and its so much better than every other one ive tried, that it still gets 5 stars all the way.

Use It Often, Reliable, Several Light Levels
I use this headlamp for work as well as around the house when walking to my detached garage, fixing plumping under the sink, finding tripped breakers in the electrical box, etc. I like that it fits on my hardhat or can be used without a hardhat by simply putting the strap around my head. This headlamp was recommended by the counter person at my local electrical supply distributor. These guys typically know what works, what doesn't.

This headlamp has seven light levels, flood or spot modes. I find all of them useful depending on the task at hand. The low and medium level flood modes are great for working in electrical panels where you just need a little extra light. The low level dramatically increases battery life. I use the spot mode when walking to my garage or through dark warehouses.

The USB battery is replaceable. I've read where others keep a spare and swap it out as needed. I'm not sure how to charge a spare outside of the headlamp.

What's up with the battery problem?
I use my Milwaukee headlight at least 2x a week. Im getting the same problem I seen others commenting on with the battery. My light after charging it for an hour will blink then turn off. When I plug it in the indicator light will flash green then red a few times. I haven't even had my light 3 months. I would definitely hold of on buying this light until they figure out the battery problem. I do have to say other then the battery problem it's a great light.

Super bright. Versatile lighting modes. Rechargeable a major plus. Size and weight need work.
Pros
Super Bright. Nice selection of modes. Good “hardware” for attaching to a hard hat. Rechargeable is a big plus.

Cons
Size and weight. It’s like wearing an off-road light bar on your head. Def feel the extra weight on the hat. Just huge looking when installed.

Recommendations
Should def have made the battery box separate like other head lamps. Light in front with the battery in back. Would be a lot smaller lamp area and a better weight balance.

Overall I like it, but I wouldn’t buy it again until it gets redesigned.

Only have 1 week with the headlamp and it only last me 5 hours, I'm a low Voltage technician and my current job site has no lights so having a headlamp is a must.

Im really happy with the 5 ive bought so far
Ive buying them slowly for the plant employees where i work. Each time one of the old ones break i replace it with one of these and an additional battery/ charger kit. So when any one of the plant guys lights needs a battery they just swap it with one in a charger. Most of the guys use it on high so they battery life is kind of short but thats expected and why i bought the spares. Still they only have to swap batteries every couple days. With a 2000 cycle life span frequent swapping wont be an issue for a long time.
As for function, I use mine as a mobile work light and headlamp. You can remove it from its plastic mount and sit it where you need it. Im not sure if its meant to be that way but im careful and its worked perfectly at least 100 times. Its been about 9 months to a year since i bought mine (the first one at the plant and i still havent found any major flaws. One weak point is the battery life if used on high flood (approximately 2 hours) all of the time. My resolution is the spare battery and charger kit which is fully charged in that amount of time. So i dont see that as much of a weak point. just get the kit and you have a great work light for around $100.

I use without a hardhat!
I use primarily at night to wander outside with dogs to avoid skunks and make sure sheds are closed/locked. I'm surprised at the intensity and amount of light it provides. Also comfortably fits my size 8 1/2 head without a hardhat.

Bright, fits well. Clips are sub par.
I use this light on my hardhat, and the clips are great for that. The light is bright, and the settings are versatile enough for many tasks. The only complaint I have is the clips. After a few months use, the hinges no longer hold the lamp in position. I sometimes have to slope the light higher or lower depending on what I'm doing, but the light no longer stays where I place it. The price is high to have to replace it every few months for this wear and tear.
