It is a Screwdriver not a Drill
I have had this tool about 9 months and it has become my most used powered tool of any type. I bought a nice set of bits and 1/4" drive items that I keep with it. Operating it couldn't be easier and the light is much appreciated. It is plenty powerful as a screwdriver and will snap a #8 screw with authority if you leave it on the maximum setting. But fortunately it has a nicely measured torque adjustment ring that has let me run 3" screws into wood or those little bitty switch plate screws without a problem. Granted it takes some use to determine the correct settiing. I bought a house with a 2000+ ft^2 basement with virtually no existing lights or outlets and have been using it everyday setting up my metal and wood shop. It isn't an impact driver and it isn't a drill. It is a screwdriver period. I was looking it up today because my son in law wants one and I was going to send this link to my daughter. I hope the big box I got it from runs the same special again this December.

I don't know what I would do without it
The only thing that would make it better is if it had a magnet on it somewhere to hold loose screws. I glued an old hard drive magnet to the back, now mine has a magnet

Describe Yourself:
Professional
Very good tool at a very decent price
This is a rugged small footprint fastener/screwdriver/drill.
It does lack some power when using with the drill torque setting, but I still was able to drill a 2" hole with a Hole Dozer bit in a 2x4...it did smell like it was heating and the battery drained but I still got it done.

When used to fasten bolts or screws, a single battery will last a very long time.
As a matter of fact, I rarely use my M18 Drill anymore because I have this one.

If you are looking for a simple drill for the house, you will get quite the bang for your bucks with this. Just keep in mind it is not as powerful as a bigger drill but still, you will get a very long way with this tool.

For professionals, it's heavier than other brands but the tool can take a beating.

Great for small fasteners and hose clamps. Not a fan of the size of the chuck. I understand having a variety of tools but you're kind of overdoing it there Milwaukee. Makes it hard to know which model is best for my needs. Bought this two days ago and then look online to see a model that is not only better for my needs, but better overall in my opinion.

I love this, It's perfect when I'm doing PM's (HVAC Tech, it is small, light and has enough power to get the job done. I have a M18 impact and a Hammer-drill, if I need more power.

Love this item
My first M12, I utilize my M18 tools all the time but wanted something a little smaller. I was definitely impressed with this. The first time I tried this out I brought along my M18 impact driver because I wasn't sure It would be able to get the job done. This thing did everything I asked of it.

Love the quality!
Bought this tool referbished, but it looks and functions as new. I use the Milwaukee tools daily repairing emergency vehicles, and I could not give a higher recommendation to any other brand of tool. Thank you Milwaukee!

I want the exact drill as picture i have ordered 2 on internet and the are both the new style can you help me

BEST ANSWER: I have owned this drill about 6 years, I love it. The main reason is the
hex chuck, it will eject the bits. I bought the new one because I wanted
the same in case the old one "wore out" . The new one does not "eject" the
bits, the main feature for me, I install kitchen cabinets and it was very
easy to change bits one handed. Other than that it is a great driver, long
battery live, etc. Hope this helps
What is the cover on top the drill says m12 on it and has a corkscrew in it?
