Words cannot express how happy I am with this little drill. I got this as part of a *non-FUEL* 5-piece M12 kit and its a torque-y little drill! Absolutely love how lightweight and compact it is, and you can tell Milwaukee made their M12 line to last.

Using the XC 3.0 or 4.0 batteries, this drill has impressive battery life span. An absolutely wicked drill for the size and money and should be considered by any DIY'er or professional looking for a compact handy little drill.

Also, did I mention the torque? Because its go LOTS of it.

Perfect Around the House Drill
I have many Milwaukee tools, most of them for work so they stay in my truck. This is the only drill that I keep in my house because it's small and lightweight, and frankly I don't need to pull out my FUEL's for some small job. Even though they are dirt cheap, they have decent power, high build quality (it has a metal chuck, which most low cost drills lack, and good battery life. This is the perfect light use drill, especially for DIYers.

Fist recon purchase...
I was looking into buying a Milwaukee tool after I got one of their heated sweatshirts last year as a gift. I go between my Ryobi drill and my old Craftsman drill, which both have their own separate issues. I listened to a few of my friends that like Milwaukee and decided to give it a try. This is also my first recon purchase, so I figured if I didn't like it, I wasn't sinking too much into it. It looks great, I always wanted a light at the end of the drill, and the battery lasts forever and a day. I would recommend it highly for small to mid-size projects; definitely the drill I'll be using when I work on redoing my deck in the spring!

Good tool except the chuck quality
I have two of these along with the matching impact drivers I keep 'em in two different locations. One is in Mexico, one in Texas. Both are less than a year old and were bought reconditioned here. Both get a few months of use and then sit. I just finished a project in Tx when the drill chuck went out on me nearly the last day. The chuck started adjusting crookedly and I saw that one of the three jaws stopped moving. I could not get it to work again and could not get the chuck off to change it with the jaws messed up. Out of warranty, so I ordered another thinking it was a fluke.

I return to Mexico and go to use the one I have here and it's stuck. I guess it's rusting inside from 2 months of storage because some machine oil did help it return to semi-normal. But I have the feeling that next time I store it, the same thing will happen. Hopefully the oiling will avoid that, but not confident. I've had an old Makita 9V long handle here for ten years with never a issue. I've had many of those makitas and never a chuck issue. Whatever they did Milwaukee has come up short on metal quality, tolerances or just chuck design, don't know. If I have to buy another, I'm going for max warranty not reconditioned because of this. Already married to the 12V Milwaukee system, so changing brands is hard now.
