No need for the compressor
To be clear i hate cords and hoses laying about but on some tools there hasn't been a good option. This is one where i won't ever bother with the pneumatic version again. This is nice and light, small, and has plenty or power and RPMs. So far i have no complaints.

Does the job I purchased it for extremely well
Perfect for what I purchased it for: Adjusting strikes for deadbolts. Put in a carbide bit and it does a excellent job of removing the brass or stainless material of the strikes.

No air needed
After the addition of these grinders I have made the switch to almost all power tools are cordless. Why is there no battery operated alternative to the air hammer?

The air tool is prehistoric
Just like the dinosaur, the air tool should be extinct. Personally I am done with the exhaust noise of an air tool, combine that with moisture that can spit out the exhaust of an air tool, I am done. Period!

This tool is quiet, no hose and it just works in those tight spaces. I am planning on purchasing a second one.

Freedom from hoses!
I use this with Roloc discs to polish saw cuts on aluminum stock. Absolutely love it, but I'm deducting one star because the large diameter body makes trigger engagement a bit clumsy. I understand the size of the M12 batteries themselves would seem to dictate the size of the body of the tool, but I believe it would have been possible to step down near where the battery ends.

works great
bought this for cleaning pipe ends while replacing Victaulic fittings. The grinder worked well but really goes through the batteries. We had 2 chargers and 5 batteries to get through the job. Air grinder works better but when you have no air, this will work

Is it good and powerful enough for 3in grinding and cut off?
Josh M on Dec 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes it is! I use 3"x3/32" fiber cutting disks at work. I do suggest using the 24,500 rpm setting and letting it spin up before trying to cut. Safety feature built in will not let it spin if it touching something first.
Is there a rpm range for this tool?
Chip. on Oct 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, four different settings. 10,000 15,000 20,000 and 24,500.
How long can I expect a 2ah battery to last on highest rpm setting? Thanks!
