This is a great tool. I have numerous Milwaukee tools including a cordless drill that has a hammerdrill feature but this hammerdrill is the REAL thing. I am restoring an old theatre which has 18” masonry walls. The “Drill” did okay, but this hammerdrill was ten times faster ! If you need a good hammerdrill I highly recommend this item.

Make pilot holes for t-posts
With a 15" long 7/8 bit you can drill a pilot hole in Texas Hill Country limestone big enough to then hammer in a t-post. Light enough to carry anywhere you can carry a t-post and driver. Worth its weight in swear words.
