Really nice saw
This is a very nice saw. I am happy with it. Only reason it's not 4 stars is the batteries are really expensive. You're gonna need a high output battery to come close to the power of a corded.

Nice saw the only problem I have is plastic pointe
I like the saw. Have used it on a few jobs so far and the only problem I have had is the bevel pointer snapped. Not sure why they make the pointers out of plastic instead of metal, it can’t be a weight issue. I will stock up on each different pointer so I have replacements as it doesn’t take much force for it to snap off. Ok

Great saw
The saw is light weight , easy to use , works good with all batteries . The shadow line works great , dust extraction works well .Only complaint is Milwaukee needs to make an Ac adaptor for the m18 line , in shop settings when a battery is not needed . Saw is great , if they make the adaptor it would be perfect . Let the user have the choice in how they wanna power it .

Definitely recommend this saw
I use this saw every day at work doing wood siding and trim and balconies on commercial properties. With the 9.0 battery the saw will cut all day with plenty of power. It’s light weight and and easily loaded by one guy. Not having to roll out power saves time and can move on-site with no problems.

What is the weight of tool and battery ?
A shopper on Jan 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: 45 pounds
Does it have a light in the hood?
A shopper on Jul 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. The light shines on the blade so that it casts a thin line shadow where the cut will be.
I got this for Father’s Day I have one question when putting on the new blade I noticed that it does not lock in with the locking nut that the blade is provided as a circular attachment hole in the middle and there’s no way to lock in place is that the way it’s designed or is that a problem? Obviously I can tighten it on just fine but im used to there being a flat portion to the circle to lock it in place.

BEST ANSWER: There is a blade lock on the motor. It is a black button that lines up with the rotor.
