Solid Tool
Bought this as an alternative to the corded Milwaukee boom drill and I love it. Light weight and quite powerful. I would recommend to other electricians as I think this tool is perhaps overlooked as it is marketed as only a mud mixer for drywallers

Good tool
Recently mixed a few batches of mortar to level and support a tub and shower base. I liked not having to use my superhawg. The mud mixer is much lighter. It feels and sounds like a quality tool. It did not feel hot after mixing a full bucket. My buddy who does remodel/tiling work was also impressed.

Tool is as advertised. I Use it to mix thin set and spackle. Plenty of power. As all my Milwaukee tools have.

What is the max rpm?
A shopper on Sep 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The max rpm is supposedly 550 RPM. I have one of these and I would be surprised if it really reaches 550. If it does, it only does at full battery. Further, after intermittent use for 8 months these batteries need to be charged daily. It works fine for wet mixes like pre-slaked limes or venetian plasters and acrylics, but would not handle veneers or cements. it's just to slow.
