Details
Delivering up to 120 PSI, the M18 SWITCH TANK 4-Gallon Backpack Pesticide Sprayer (2820-21PS) delivers the power to spray up to 25 ft. away. The unique design of this backpack sprayer allows users to separate the tank from the base, so users can fill multiple tanks with different chemicals to prevent cross-contamination. The cordless backpack sprayer's frame includes wide straps to ensure comfort when worn for extended periods of time. The tank assembly is protected using Viton seals, increasing durability against harsh chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, fertilizers and insecticides. A dual diaphragm pump built into the tank assembly extends the life of the unit. The tank features a wide opening to prevent spills, as well as a strainer to keep debris out. Five user-adjustable spray modes help control the flow of chemicals, while the REDLITHIUM XC 3 Ah battery pack pumps up to 12 tanks on a charge - all with no manual pumping.

Inconsistent
I've owned this sprayer for about 6 months now and so far from what I can tell is that it is inconsistent. I am a pest control professional and this thing will leak... then not leak, then lose pressure and stop spraying completely... Then suddenly after hopping up and down, start up again (This works sometimes and other time is does not at all). I do not feel like I should have to be hopping around like a bunny to get a backpack sprayer to work. I have researched on the reviews for this backpack from many other sources and found that I am not the only one with issues. It would seem that there are even more issues that I have not even reached yet. I do not feel like this backpack is up to par to be consistent or durable enough to actually be used by a professional who will be spraying 8-12 houses a day.

lets just stick with the problems cause bottom line for the amount of money should not be having these issues: when the tank has about 1/2 gallon of product will not empty leaving product that can not be used, + the pressure is not consistent , ive used plenty other sprayers 1/3 of the price of this 1 and worked better

Good sprayer for homeowner but not a professional
I use a backpack sprayer every day on the job. I gave up my manual pump sprayers this year for this battery powered sprayer for the convenience. I chose Milwaukee because I had never been disappointed by their tools and they have stood up to a lot of abuse. The first couple of months I liked it but now that I have reached the end of my spray season i’m going to junk it and go back to birchmeier. What I liked - not manually pumping the sprayer. My issues - hand fatigue- I wear a large size glove so my hands aren’t small- the handle is larger than my other sprayers and after about 2 tanks my hands hurt. The tank lost pressure when 1) it wasn’t perfectly vertical. If you made a slight bend at the waist to adjust your spray position you lose pressure and have to wait for it to come back. 2) if there is 1 gallon or less you lose pressure. If you put 3 gallons in the tank, it was good for the first 2. It took forever to spray that last gallon out, I eventually gave up and left 1 gallon in the tank at all times. That’s extra weight and less production for the volume in the tank, which is not good when you have a long distance between where you fill up and the spray area. If you want a dry tank at the end of the day, easier to dump it out than wait for it to spray out. The seal in one lid broke so now that tank leaks if it is not vertical. The tank that got the most use this summer needs a new spray nozzle or seal replacement as it developed a bad drip. After several months of use I can barely spray a distance of 4’. It’s not tank related as all of my tanks do this when I switch them out. I haven’t tried to resolve this issue because i’m done with them. My other tanks could go at least 5 years under the same conditions before having these problems, if at all. For a homeowner that wants to spray something around the property once a month it would work fine.

I would buy again if they made it better
I have had mine for 2 weeks...found out the lid don't seal and ran a load of chemical down my back. The screen is inaccessible if there is any chemical in the tank..And the screen is TINY.... after the first week I had to hit the handle to make it pump...they need to talk with people who use it more than once a day....

Good quality sprayer
It's pretty good I haven't had any problem with it. Its built solid. The only thing I noticed is I go through the chemical way faster because I am not constantly pumping all the time.

Great product for the HVAC Technician
We sell and use this product for coil cleaning and rinsing. It's great for carrying multiple cleaners without having to dump and rinse tanks. Great for commercial rooftops & VRF as well as residential heat pumps and a/c condensers.

What is the weigh of the sprayer when it is empty?
Richard S on Jul 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The sprayer weighs 17.5 pounds. The quality of this sprayer is excellent. The only thing I have any complaint about is the weight, with a few gallons of water it can be a challenge for your feet, ankles, knees, and joints. At least your hands and arms are carrying same as nothing. Hope this helps.
What makes the sprayer surge and also it keeps dribbling after I let go of the trigger?
