Nice tool
Like the ease of having the tool that attaches to a single power source. Handle is a little long for me but others may think it is a good fit

The tool did not come with a shoulder strap. It is too heavy to operate for over just a few minutes without a strap. The strap is an optional purchase. I use a 9.0 AHr battery which works very well. Machine ran well.

Its great for small stuff
I got this for my mom. It works great for 5 or 10 minutes then it starts to stall.I watched it keep stalling on her. She is in her sixties. It has a fresh battery a new 12.0 and the head is free of debris. This is actually the second one to do this.

Awesome and best string trimmer I have ever purchased after 27 years of corded power, gas power and competition 18volt brushless. Full grip surround handle for better movement and no muscle strain. Low speed is more powerful than competition at high speed. The fully charged 9.0 battery only dropped 1 bar after a good hour run time clearing yard and inside/outside of fence line. I also noticed I am using less string during trimming, throttle control is a plus very smooth and easy to maintain. Awesome, Awesome string trimmer

I’ve had this a year and it keeps on working... as one would expect. Having gone through supplied line trimmer bought replacement at Amazon and still working on that. I like that it’s part of the M18 system, though a bit expensive but knowing it’s Milwaukee M18 just adds to the benefit of the whole system and now with the array of all the other tools just makes it better.

We have 3 battery operated Milwaukee tools, a high torque 1/2" impact, a four inch angle grinder, and a portable vacuum. We are farmers, so we use these tools sporadically, so battery life is not an issue, as we have three 5.0 batteries. Will the 5.0's run virtually any battery operated Milwaukee tool? Battery life is typically not an issue with us, as we don't use them in a professional manner.

BEST ANSWER: I have used a 5.0 battery to operate my 2825-20st string trimmer. I prefer to use the 9.0 battery, but only because it allows me to trim more area without changing the battery. I have several M18 tools and in my experience they all run equally well with the 5.0 battery as with the 9.0 or 12.0 batteries, the only difference being the run time before battery change.
I have almost all the attachments for husqvarna. Wonder if it fits on Milwaukee 2825-20st m18 fuel?
