really good tool much lighter than my default yellow cordless and nearly as powerful
easily spins lug nuts off my superduty with 150ft lbs lug nuts great for on the farm and on the job site own the high torque version too but prefer this one I am an electrician that does a lot of work with heavy equip and seem to have to weekly change tires so use a lot. great overall tool and would recommend it to anyone once again want to say how much lighter and smaller this tool is compared to normal impact wrench

Reliable hard hitting tool
I’m an apprentice HD tech & I bought this due to the nature of the job where at times dragging an airline behind you just isn’t feasible or makes life a lot more challenging. So far the tool has performed to my expectations & really doesn’t use a ton of battery life considering I’m only using the smaller M18 batteries. Great product in my mind.

Favorite impact in my tool box!
I use this impact for facility maintenance as well as on cars and grounds equipment. So far. I love everything about it especially the portability. I have not had a bolt that it would not break loose yet. It has more power than some of my air impacts.

Great tool for heavy use
As a plumber I use this frequently to remove anode rods on water heaters which can be impossible with a ratchet wrench on large units. Have not had any problems with one yet with this tool. It also gets plenty of use up high for attaching heavy supports for drainage, sprinkler piping, and on water supply piping on commercial jobs. The weight is light enough but the tool is no doubt heavy duty. Nothing but Milwaukee tools are in my work bags. Best in the industry with products and innovation!

This is a great tool
I bought this for sinking lag bolts into 6x6 material and tightening nuts onto carriage bolts, but it works great for removal of wheels also. I have 16 Milwaukee tools and each one I am very happy with. One I have had over 20 years, it is cordless and never had a problem with, aside from batteries, I had to replace a couple over the years.
I use them every day and will keep using them. I am completely cordless on the jobsite now.

is there a difference between themed torque 2861-22 and the 2860-20 as far as torque specs? or is it just that one has friction ring and one the detent ball?
Mike R on Mar 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: as far as I know they are the same tools with different anvils. I got the one with the detent pin as soon as it came out, now I wish I had waited for the 2861 as my other ones have the friction ring and they are much easier to use.
