Great investment!!
My husband indulged my attempts to "save a little money" by purchasing another brand...BIG mistake! Milwaukee is the best in battery life, power, plus the versatility of the Quik Lock system is great. Attachments are easy to change out plus, there is no compromise in power to get tough jobs done. We love it so much, we purchased the hedger and tree saw. My husband only uses Milwaukee power tools now we are both Milwaukee fans. TIP: Buy the shoulder strap.

Great edger attachment
I love my Milwaukee 18V quick Lock trimmer and love this attachment even more. The whole concept of interchangeable tools is appealing to me for cost and space savings. I had seen this in other brands but waited until Milwaukee or Bosch came out with a decent one and this is it. I had a walk behind edger (dirt fountain) for years then switched over to a straight shaft line trimmer when then evolved to a proper power level. I considered this edger attachment as CPO offered at a discount when I bought the trimmer. I'm really glad that I bought the edger for a couple reasons. The edger does a much better job than the trimmer did and its much easier to get uniform depth and straight line results. I used to be able to fast walk a straight line but the older I get the slower and more crooked my lines are (Rutrow). The other benefit that I found is there is much less wear and tear on my trimmer now as most of the line gets chewed up when I edge along the concrete. That said, I expect to get more life out of my trimmer line and more life out of my spool heads with less bounces on concrete to advance the line. Just a theory and time will tell but for now at 1 month of regular use this is a 5 star purchase.
