Sander is flawed
Power is great and sander sands for the most part. Issue is with the dust collector and the rear paper clamp. Like many others I cannot keep the dust collector on the sander. It wants to pop off every couple minutes. Also like many others, after 2 projects the rear paper clamp rubber is worn prematurely and sand paper comes off quite quickly. I have resorted to using a shop vac and not punching holes in the paper to help hold it in place while using.

Very powerful. If that’s what you want.
I bought this because it’s Milwaukee. I’ve been buying a lot of Milwaukee lately and have been very impressed. This sander is one of the most powerful ones out there. I thought that would be better, but it kept trying to spin out of my hand. My hand became very fatigued after only a short time. I didn’t have any issues with the paper clamping system. The dust collection box kept popping out. There is no positive lock to hold it in place, just friction. Will be returning it.

This is my first Milwaukee tool.It was a great choice-easy to use and powerful. Much better than a random orbital sander.
