An impressed DIYer
I purchased this saw a couple years ago after extensive on-line research comparing numerous different brands and models. Since I prefer to use a saw right-handed, the left blade design is perfect for me. The saw is build very solid from the thick aluminum base plate to the plate tilting adjustment knobs. Nothing feels cheap, like it will break easily. Full disclosure - As a DIYer, my saw does not get daily use, but I have used it quite a bit on many different home projects and some pretty thick cuts. I have cut up to 1 1/2 inch thick plywood (2 3/4 inch sheets glued together for workbench tops and 1 3/4 inch thick commercial grade fire rated doors (( re-purposing them for folding workbench tops)) ) resulting in very clean cuts with no appreciable bogging down of the 15 amp motor throughout the lengthy cuts. ( I believe I did switch the blade out to a 40 tooth design which, incidentally, made cutting much quieter than the 24 tooth framing blade that came with the saw.) This saw has plenty of power to me. While it is not light, I don't mind it's weight because it feels very well made and solid overall (and I am not using it all day long). As a home DIYer, I am very impressed with this product from Milwaukee. I hope this is helpful to someone considering this saw.

I love it. I’ve been in construction for 30 years and have never owned a left handed saw before now.
Much easier to see my line.

My all time favorite circular saw.
38 years in the construction trades and I can positively say that this saw is my all time favorite. I bought one when they first came out and it's still going strong. Carpentry, woodworking, cabinetry and remodeling it does it all with a great line of sight and ample cutting power. Nice balance too.

Great saw for right handed carpenters!
This saw was purchased to replace the one i lent out & didnt get returned. Had it for over 10 years & had went back to my old worm drive. Missed the power, weight & agility of this saw & was glad to see they are still made.
The blade being on the left side as a right hander makes a world of difference.

Great saw!
For years I have used my old Rockwell 6 1/4 inch skill saw. But so glad I updated with this excellent 7 & 1/4 Milwalkee. Just built a 16 x 12' treehouse for the grandkids and it put it to great useage.

So thankful I found you!
I am so thankful I found CPO! I have probably ordered way tooooo much stuff but all great quality and very competive prices. I used to order all my tools from Woodworkers Supply but no more. The thing that is most impressive is CPO does not rip you off on the freight. So many suppliers have decent prices but their big profit is hidden in the freight. Every tool I have ordered has been great!
